Depression Chicken V2

This fresh/frozen chicken tender recipe is easy to prep, cook, and takes very little time. It actually tastes and looks good.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Get out your glass pan.
  2. Layer the bottom with vegatable oil.
  3. Put your seasoning on top of the vegatable oil.
  4. Put the (frozen) chicken on top of the seasoning/oil layer.
  5. Put more seasoning on top of the chicken.
  6. If the chicken is frozen, you can defrost it in the fridge overnight. If you need to eat dinner today, you can leave the chicken out on the counter in the pan for 2 hours to defrost.
  7. Start the air fryer at 400 degrees.
  8. Once the air fryer is reasonably heated, put the chicken in the air fryer.
  9. Cook one side of the chicken for 7 minutes. Then flip it, and cook the other for 3-4 minutes.
  10. Check the temperature of the chicken. I recommend 160 degrees.
  11. Take the chicken out, and eat with your favorite sauce.

For a better meal, I like to throw in some assorted frozen vegatables with the chicken when the chicken is about halfway done.

I recommend using a Kinders rub/seasoning. Carne asada and the meat/veggies mix give the best results.
